In the heart of the Cervo Valley, there is a house that has learnt to tell the story of the passing years. Once a family home, it was later forgotten and swallowed up by the surrounding greenery.
When Barbara returned there, the stones were covered in moss and the beams were broken, but the spirit of the place remained intact. La Bursch was born out of that encounter: an act of care for memory, the land and the people.
Since 2018, thanks to a painstaking restoration project, La Bursch has been brought back to life as a scattered hamlet built of stone and wood. Today, it welcomes those seeking authenticity, tranquillity, contemplation and that sense of togetherness that can only arise from sharing the same living spaces.

The Restaurant

Open to non-residents too, La Bursch restaurant showcases the flavours of the region through traditional Piedmontese cuisine, reimagined with touches of boundless creativity – a hallmark of the young chef at the helm: Stefano Landoni, who, together with his kitchen and front-of-house teams, skilfully guides the restaurant with elegance and a perfect balance of flavours.

ST’ORTO

In St’Orto’s outdoor seating area, our guests can sit al fresco to the sound of the Bele stream in the background, enjoying homemade snacks and ice creams, sipping a glass of fine wine, or treating themselves to hot and cold dishes from our kitchen or cocktails mixed by our barman.

Throughout the year, you can also book wine and cheese tastings to enjoy in the cool, historic cellar, as part of an experience led by our staff.
